The exact release of Path of Exile 2 is not yet stated by Grinding Gear Games. The beta version will be released in the summer of 2024.
Path of Exile 2: Release dates at a glance
If you want to play the sequel to Path of Exile, you’ll have to be a little patient.
- The closed beta will go online on 7 June 2024. Players can sign up for the closed beta on the Path of Exile 2 page.
- A few weeks later, a public beta can be expected. This will be available to all players who want to try out the successor.
- An exact release date for the full game has not yet been set. A release in the year 2025 is likely.
- Path of Exile 2 is a Free 2 Play online multiplayer action RPG. It features co-op with up to six players and will be released for Windows PCs, macOS, the Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5.
- Players can choose from twelve classes with 36 variations to experience the six acts of the game. You can combine over 2,000 skills at will to customise your build.
- The game also includes numerous new items, over 600 monsters and 100 bosses to get in your way. Customisation is the focus of Path of Exile 2.
