If you need turtle shells in Sons of the Forest, you have to search for the turtles living there.
- Luckily, turtles can be found on all the beaches on the island. There are no specific spawn locations. They can appear on all sandy beaches
- There are also freshwater turtles. These can only be found near lakes on the island. They are much rarer to find and do not spawn during the winter.
- To get a turtle shell, you have to kill the animal and then loot it. You will receive one shell per turtle
- Turtle shells are needed to craft rain catchers. You can use these to collect rainwater. You will find the blueprint required for this at the start of the game in the book.
