Sending money with Apple Pay is a feature that many Apple users want. The process itself is not complicated.
Apple Pay: sending money made easy
Apple Pay exclusively offers users in the U.S. the ability to send money directly to others.
- When this feature will be enabled in other countries is unknown at this time (as of October 2023).
- The function itself is integrated directly into the iMessage app. To do this, use the plus symbol in a chat with the respective contact to use the Apple Cash option. There you can enter the desired amount.
- Finally click on Send. Confirm the sending of money with a security code or your Touch or Face ID. You can also add a comment to the payment.
- It’s even possible to send recurring payments. The amounts are sent automatically from Apple Cash or the stored cards in the wallet.
