You can fit up to 250 contacts on a SIM card. If you have exceeded this number, the numbers are stored on your smartphone or Google or iOS account. If you still want to store contacts on your SIM, you must first make room for them.

• You can either delete contacts that are on the SIM card or search your phonebook for duplicate contacts.
• Alternatively, you can import the contacts from the SIM card and delete them afterwards. This works under both Android and iOS.
• In some cases, you get this message on Android if you have received too many SMS.
• So regularly delete old SMS or contacts that you don’t need or that you have twice.
