If you are waiting for a parcel, you should know how long DPD will deliver. The delivery times vary depending on the shipping method.
How long DPD delivers: Times and shipping method
DPD usually delivers between 8am and 6pm. This time window may be extended at peak times, such as Christmas. Therefore, it is possible that the delivery person may arrive after 6pm.
- Workdays: The delivery service DPD delivers parcels from Monday to Saturday. Although delivery times are between 8am and 6pm, you should expect delivery from 9am at the earliest. The delivery time for standard shipping is 1-2 working days.
- Express shipping: If you send your parcel with DPD Express, your delivery is guaranteed to be delivered on the next working day. The prerequisite for this is that your parcel was received the day before. Bear in mind that many online shops mark deliveries as shipped when they have been prepared for collection. However, this does not necessarily mean that your parcel has been collected by the service provider.
- Shipment tracking: You can use the live tracking function to monitor the current status of the delivery. To do this, enter the consignment number on the website. If it is “in delivery”, it should also arrive on the same day. However, there may also be a delay. Reasons for this include accidents, illness or too many parcels for the working day. If any of these reasons occur, your delivery will be delivered the following working day.
