In an Excel chart you can easily scale the axes. Once you know how to do this, you can edit them as you wish
Excel: How to scale the axes of a chart
If you have created a chart and want to scale the axes afterwards, proceed in the following way:
- Open the Excel file in which you want to make changes. Click with the left mouse button on the chart you want to adjust.
- Open the Excel file where you want to make changes.
- On the right you will see a menu bar. Here you can make the “Format Axis” settings that you need.
- Now click on the axis you want to scale. Under “Format Axis ☻ Axis Options” make the changes you need. As soon as you make changes, the scaling of the axis will change.
- Resave the file to apply the changes.
