Spotify for students: Here are the costs

Many students use Spotify as a place to stream music. If you don’t like the adverts that come with a free account, you can opt for one of the various subscription models. Find out in this article whether there is also a student tariff.

Spotify – no discount for pupils

There is no student discount on Spotify.

• If you decide to buy a Spotify premium account as a student, you will pay 10.99 euros per month.
• A discount is only available for students. As a student, you receive a 50 per cent discount and pay only 5.99 euros per month. However, this discount is only valid for one year. After that, students also pay the full premium price.
• To get the student discount, you need to register with Unidays for proof.
• You may be interested in the Family package for students. The Family account costs 17.99 euros per month. In addition to the subscriber, five family members can use the premium access without having to pay anything extra.
• As a student, you should also pay attention to Spotify’s age restriction. The T&Cs specify a minimum age for streaming.
