“Nobody Wants This”: Season 2 coming at the end of October 2025
Due to the success of the series “Nobody Wants This,” which revolves around the romance between agnostic podcaster Joanne (Kristen Bell) and Rabbi Noah (Adam Brody), streaming service Netflix quickly commissioned a second season.
- Just a few weeks after the release of the first season in September 2024, production of the second season was confirmed. Filming took place from March to May 2025.
- You can watch the second season on Netflix starting October 23, 2025. It will likely consist of ten episodes, just like the first season. It is set in Los Angeles once again.
- It’s no surprise that Netflix has commissioned a second season. The series’ positive reception, its multiple award nominations, and Brody’s award for Best Actor in a Comedy Series at the 30th Critics’ Choice Awards in February 2025 have had an even more positive impact on the series’ success.
“Nobody Wants This” Season 2: Info about the sequel
The first season of the series ended with a cliffhanger, as Noah and Joanne are not quite sure how their relationship should work. This is where the second season will pick up.
- The entire cast of “Nobody Wants This” will return for the sequel. There will also be some new additions to the cast, which should add even more excitement to the story.
- These include Leighton Meester, known as Blair Waldorf from Gossip Girl and partner of Adam Brody. She will play Joanne’s former middle school arch-nemesis.
- Miles Fowler (Tim from Bottoms) takes on the role of Lenny, a member of the Matzah Ballers. Sparks are expected to fly between Morgan, Joanne’s sister, and him.
- Last but not least, Succession star and Girls actor join the cast. Moayed will play Dr. Andy, who also wants to win Morgan over.
- Big Noah, on the other hand, will be played by Karposky. Like Noah, he has his sights set on the position of Chief Rabbi. Erin Foster is back as showrunner, as she was for the first season.
