You can connect an N64 console in just a few simple steps. Read this practical tip to find out the best way to do it.
Connecting an N64 – here’s how
- First, connect the mains adaptor to the ‘AC/Adapter’ socket on the console and plug the cable into a mains socket.
- Plug the stereo/AV cable into the ‘Multi-Out’ socket on the console.
- If your television has a three-colour socket, connect the colours accordingly.
- Otherwise, you will need a Scart adaptor. Here too, the colours must be connected correctly.
- Then connect the Scart adaptor to the television until the connection is secure.
- Now insert a game cartridge into the slot and switch on the console.
- Now all you need to do is switch on the television and select the appropriate source. Look for ‘Scart’ or ‘AV’ here.
