If you want to change the email address stored in your Origin (EA) account, you can do it yourself with just a few clicks.
Changing your EA account email address
When you sign in to your EA account (formerly Origin account), you must use the email address that you used to register. You can change this address at any time in your user account. This will not change your EA ID.
- Open the EA homepage. Click on the profile icon in the top right corner and then on Login.
- Log in with your old email address and password. You can also enter your phone number instead of your email if you provided one during registration.
- Click on your profile picture in the upper right corner and select Account Settings.
- On the new page, make sure you are in the About Me section.
- Then click on Edit next to “E-mail address”.
- Click on the button Send security code. You will now receive a numerical code at your old e-mail address, which you will need to confirm your identity in the next step.
- Enter the code in the corresponding field and click Submit.
- Now set your new email address and confirm by clicking Continue.
- EA will now send you a verification email. This contains another verification code that you enter in the text field. By clicking Send, you will complete the email address change.
