Elden Ring: Solve Boc Quest

The open-world action role-playing game Elden Ring offers you countless quests, including the one of Boc. Help him and he can change your equipment

Elden Ring: Find and start Boc Quest

To start the quest of the little half-man Boc in Elden Ring, you have to find him first. Boc normally travels in ape form, but has been cast out by his fellow apes and turned into a bush. Here’s how to find him:

• Go to Limgrave.

• Near the eagle eye telescope you will find a small tree. This tree is Boc. He chats away as soon as you come near him.

• Take advantage of all the opportunities to talk to Boc. He offers you a very valuable reward should you help him.

• Now head to the coastal cave to the west of Limgrave from which Boc was cast out. At the end of this cave you must defeat the half-human rulers.

• You will receive a sewing needle from the half-human rulers. Leave the cave and go to the place of mercy nearby. Here you will find Boc lying injured next to it. Hand him the needle and then talk to him.

• Boc then disappears and is now at the place of mercy Sea Cliffs in Liurnia.

To complete the quest

To make Boc in Elden Ring your personal closer and complete the quest, you need to do a few more things:

• To get to the Sea Cliffs in Liurnia, either defeat Boss Godrick or ride east around Storm Veil Castle.

• Then there, talk to Boc, who is now able to customise your normal armour. He can also improve your legendary armour. For this, however, he needs a golden sewing needle. You can find this in the east of Liurnia, in a treasure chest in the Church of the Vows.

• At the Place of Grace East Gate of Raya Lucaria, talk to Melina about Boc and then present him with the Golden Sewing Pin. If you have a customisable legendary piece of demigod hero equipment, Boc can now customise it.

• After resting again, Boc leaves you once more and now waits for you at the crossroads of the Altus High Road on the Altus Plateau, where he can do more work if you wish.

• To complete Boc’s quest, travel to the place of mercy Eastern Capital Wall (found in the royal capital of Leyndell). Here he tells you that he wishes to be reborn at Rennala.

• You can now follow this wish, and give him a larval tear. Boc then travels to Rennala and is reborn as a human there. However, if you rest afterwards, he dies.

• The second possibility is to use the talking head “You are beautiful”, which you can find in the hermit village near Gelmir Mountain. Afterwards, talk to Boc about it again.
