Find and use gold in Graveyard Keeper

Gold is a rare resource in the game Graveyard Keeper by Lazy Bear Games. There are various methods to get gold nuggets like Scrooge McDuck:

  • Go to the dungeon for gold nuggets. From the sixth level onwards, you will find veins of gold in the dungeon that you can mine with a pickaxe. The Miner bonus increases the drop rate of the nuggets.
  • At level 15, you will encounter up to four golems, each of which will drop two to five gold nuggets. This means you can get up to 20 nuggets in one run
  • Visit the mines and iron ore veins in Graveyard Keeper. Farm iron to occasionally find gold nuggets. The chance is around 15 percent per 50 blocks of iron
  • If you process iron blocks on the stone cutter, you can also obtain gold nuggets. The more iron you farm, the higher the chance of obtaining the valuable ore.
  • You can also buy gold nuggets for 22 silver coins each from the pawnbroker in the refugee camp (only with Game of Crone DLC). Alternatively, you can process golden stone carp at the cooking table, as the fish will always drop a gold nugget
  • Then process two gold nuggets into a gold bar in the oven (at least level two). You can use these to make gold jewelry ornaments
  • Alternatively, you can craft four units of gold dust from a gold nugget at the alchemy mill. Gold dust is required for memory tinctures, gold elixir and the gold injection made from it.
