Hogwarts Legacy: All info on multiplayer, co-op and crossplay

A dream of many Harry Potter fans: exploring Hogwarts Legacy in multiplayer. Now it depends on whether you can discover the School of Witchcraft and Wizardry together with your friends, whether there is co-op and whether Hogwarts Legacy supports crossplay.

No Hogwarts Legacy multiplayer: the RPG is single player

Sociable fans of the HP universe will be sadly disappointed:

• There is no multiplayer in Hogwarts Legacy. Accordingly, neither the possibility for co-op or crossplay.

• The game is also not cross-gen compatible. If you own it for one platform, you cannot play it on any other. Cross-platform progression is accordingly not possible.

• Since Hogwarts Legacy was designed as a single-player experience, we think it is highly unlikely that multiplayer will be added. Updates and possible DLCs will add story-relevant content, should they come.

• In the Harry Potter RPG, you will be able to explore an open game world set in 19th century Hogwarts, learn spells, attend classes and, of course, choose a house.

• But you don’t have to brave the dangers of magic alone: In the game, you can unlock classmates as non-controllable companions.
