Crafting arrows is very helpful in Elden Ring. Especially if you are the kind of player who likes to pick up all kinds of ingredients from everywhere. Important for this is the Crafting Kit.
Crafting Arrows in Elden Ring: This is what you should consider
- To craft, you need the Crafting Kit, which you can buy for 300 runes from Kalé, the first merchant in the ruins of Elleh Church.
- In addition, you need the corresponding recipes. These are in various cookbooks that you will find scattered throughout the game. From time to time, traders also sell these recipe collections.
- Once you have the recipe, open the pause menu and navigate to the “item making”.
- Use [RB] and [LB] (on an Xbox controller) to switch tabs so you can specifically view all recipes for arrows and ammunition.
- Once you have the ingredients, select the recipe with [A] and decide how many you want to make. You will then find the arrows in your inventory.
Equip and change arrows
To use arrows, you must first equip them.
- Open the pause menu again and go to your “equipment”.
- Equip your arrows and bolts in the four slots next to your weapons. Press [A] to get to the selection and then you can decide there. Two different arrows may be equipped at the same time.
- If you have equipped your bow, shoot the arrow of the left slot with [RB]. If you want to use the ammunition of the other slot, press [RT].
