Change TERA type in Pokémon Crimson: Instructions

You can change the TERA type in Pokémon Crimson with a special dish.

  • You unlock this option after defeating Aoki, the arena boss of Mesclarra City, in the treasure room. The arena is also the arena master’s restaurant and you can change the TERA type there
  • To do this, you must then speak to the chef, who can be found behind the counter of the restaurant. There you can purchase the special dish to customize the TERA type of a Pokémon such as Felori.
  • You need 50 TERA pieces to change the type. These must correspond to the desired type. If you want the TERA type dragon, you need 50 TERA pieces for this dragon.
  • TERA pieces are primarily obtained through TERA battles against Pokémon. The raids in particular help you to farm a large amount of TERA pieces. You can also sometimes find the pieces in the world or as a reward after completing a course at the Academy.
  • Bring the pieces to the chef and you will receive the special dish. Feed it to your Pokémon to change its TERA type.
