In principle, you can also play against other gamers in Rainbow Six Siege in crossplay. This is not yet possible between all platforms, but is set to change in Year 7. Cross progression is also an option.

Games that support crossplay let you play online against players on other platforms. Fans of Rainbow Six Siege are wondering if this is also possible with this game.
- In principle, crossplay is possible in Rainbow Six Siege. However, this only applies to certain platform combinations so far.
- So far, you can only crossplay within a console family and between PC and Stadia.
- So crossplay is playable between Playstation 4 and PS5, Xbox Series S and Series X, and between PC and Stadia respectively.
- Cross progression is also possible within a platform family. This means that you can also continue playing on the PS5 with the progress you have made on the PS4, for example.
- Crossplay will soon work between Playstation and Xbox, though. According to Ubisoft’s roadmap, you will be able to gamble between these two platform families from Season 4 of Year 7.
- Cross progression is then even possible between all platform families.
