If you have an Xbox One code, you can redeem it in several ways and then buy games or subscriptions. The codes can be redeemed both on the Xbox One and on the Xbox 360 as well as online in the browser.
Xbox One and Xbox Series X/S: Redeem Code on Console
The Xbox credit codes consist of 25 digits, numbers and letters each, divided into 5 blocks. Once you redeem the code it is linked to your account, the credit cannot be transferred to another account.
- Press the Xbox button on the controller and select the Store from the main menu.
- Press the View button on the controller to open the menu and select “Redeem” here.
- Enter the credit code here and confirm the process. The credit will then be credited to your Xbox account.
- Tip: Alternatively, use the voice command “Xbox, use code” and have the QR code on the credit card read via the Kinect sensor.
Xbox 360: Redeem credit by code
The procedure is similar on the Xbox 360.
- Start the console and press the Xbox button on the controller.
- Select the “Games and Apps” category here and select the “Redeem Code” option here.
- Now enter the 25-digit code to transfer the credit to your account.
- You can then use your credit to make purchases in the “Games and Apps” section.
Xbox: Redeem credit code on PC
In the browser you can redeem your Xbox code for your account.
- Open the following Microsoft website and log in with your account
- Enter the 25-digit code here and click the “Next” button.
- The code will then be checked and the credit on your account will be activated.
