If you want to change the characteristics of your Sim in “The Sims 4”, you can only do this with a cheat. In this practical tip, we will show you which cheat you need to use in order to be able to change the characteristics later on.
How to change the characteristics of your Sim afterwards
In The Sims 4, you can access the “Create a Sim” mode via the wardrobe and set new outfits for your Sim, but without a cheat, the features of your Sim cannot be changed afterwards. This is how you proceed if you still want to change the features:
- Open the cheat console by pressing the keys [Ctrl] + [C] + [Shift] at the same time. This is located at the top left edge of the screen.
- Enter “testingcheats true” without quotes and confirm with Enter.
- Then type “cas.fulleditmode” without quotes into the cheat console and confirm with Enter.
- Exit the mode with [Esc] and click on your Sim while holding down the [Shift] key. Select “Change to Create a Sim”.
- Select the feature you want to change. Click on the red X to remove it and set a new one.
- Confirm your selection by clicking on the tick and you will be back in the game. Your Sim now has the characteristics you have set.
