If you want to join the Crimson Fleet in Starfield, all you have to do is clash with the law in the United Colonies
Join the Crimson Fleet in Starfield: A bounty must be made
Starfield makes it quite easy for you to join the Crimson Fleet pirate faction.
- If you want to be a space pirate, go to the United Colonies territories in Starfield, for example the capital New Atlantis on the planet Jemison. Then commit some minor crime to receive a bounty
- Now let the law arrest you. You will be taken to the UC Vigilance and speak to Commander Kibwe Ikande. This starts the quest Undercover.
- Commander Ikande wants you to infiltrate the Crimson Fleet for the UC System Defense (UC SysDef) in order to provide the United Colonies with information and thus stop the pirate faction for good. If you agree, the quest will conveniently lead you to the pirates and you will become a member.
- If instead you have nothing to do with the United Colonies and simply want to be a space pirate under the banner of the Crimson Fleet, this is also possible. To do so, you must decline Commander Ikande’s offer
- Ikande will put you in prison for seven days, but the quest is not over yet. You then travel to the Mars colony of Cydonia.
- You receive a message telling you to meet Adler Kemp in the Broken Spear. Find him and take care of a small matter he tells you to do.
- Once you have done this, you will be forwarded to one of Kemp’s contacts within the Crimson Fleet. You can then join the pirates
