Find and use flint in Smalland
Flinestone is an important resource in Smalland, especially at the beginning of the Grounded-style survival game.
- Flint is primarily found on the beach. This is located in the far south of the game world and is teeming with dangerous creatures such as wasps and dragonflies. Smaller deposits can be found in the swamp and the gray lands.
- Then look out for large, dark blocks in the sand that have a slight shimmer. These are flint, which you can mine with a mandible pickaxe.
- For this pickaxe, you will need the lower jaw of a bull ant, which you will encounter in abundance in the starting area of the oak forest. You will also need five units each of wood, plant fibers and resin for the pickaxe
- Once you have mined the flint, you can craft tools and weapons from it. All you need for this is a stone saw, which you unlock as soon as you have built the lower jaw pickaxe and a workbench.
