Who should receive Kryx’s legacy in Starfield has many players pondering. The decision has a clear impact on two factions
Kryx’s legacy in Starfield: Crimson Fleet or UC SysDef
Two factions in Starfield are after Jesper Kryx’s legacy: UC SysDef and the Crimson Fleet.
- You must decide at the start of the End of Legacy quest to whom you will bring Kryx’s legacy. This is the last mission in the quest series about the pirates and the associated UC Undercover story.
- Each decision leads to a major space battle in which you support the selected faction in Starfield. You also join this faction after the quest and break off contact with the other. You should bear this in mind:
- If you decide to join the pirates, infiltrate the US Vigilance to free captured Crimson Fleet members. Ikande, who has ordered the ship to self-destruct, stands in your way. You must persuade him or kill him in order to abort the sequence and successfully complete the mission.
- Side with the UC System Defense instead and fight against the pirates in the space battle. You capture the pirate ship Schlüssel and have to finish off Delgado or, like Ikande, persuade him to avert destruction. After that, the quest is also completed
- As you can see, the decision about Kryx’s legacy primarily affects your role in the battle between the Crimson Fleet and UC-SysDef. There really isn’t a better decision. Help the faction you favor.
Kryx Legacy in Starfield: Equal Reward
Apart from the faction affiliation in Starfield, the decision regarding the reward doesn’t really matter.
- You will receive 250,000 credits after completing the space battle. It doesn’t matter whether you choose the Crimson Fleet or SysDef.
- If you like to sell contraband or prefer a large range of goods, it is a good idea to give Kryx’s Legacy to the Crimson Fleet. This will give you access to the key and the merchants who gather there.
- In addition, you can continue to enter UC territory such as New Atlantis as a pirate, as only UC-SysDef is hostile to you after the battle. If you have no problem with the pirates, it is theoretically worth bringing the Legacy of the Crimson Fleet
- Note: You don’t have to worry about a bounty either. The mission remains top secret and you can simply make off with it.
