You can register Amazon on all your devices with MyTv. This way, you can also enjoy Prime Video content on your TV or via your smartphone. Below you will find instructions on how to do this.
How to register a MyTV device with Amazon
If you want to register Amazon on your MyTV device, you must first create an Amazon Prime account. You will also need the Amazon app on your TV or tablet.
- Once you have created an Amazon Prime account, open your settings under PrimeVideo and then go to the “My devices” tab.
- Here you will find the button “Register new device”. Below this, you will now be asked to enter a code.

You will receive this code when you open the Prime Video app on your MyTV device. Then select the option “Register on the Prime website.” A code should then appear in the left-hand corner of the screen.
- Once you have entered this code into your Amazon Prime account on your PC, your device should be registered.
This is how the transfer works via your smartphone or tablet
To watch TV via your smartphone or tablet, you need Chromecast, Fire TV or Android TV.
- First turn on your TV, then open the Prime Video app on your Android mobile device, iPhone, iPad, iPod Touch or Fire Tablet. Check that you are signed in to the app with your registered account.
- Both devices must be connected to the network and all devices must be up to date.
- In the Prime Video app, select the “Transfer” icon. The TV screen should then display “Ready to start”. Then select the device you want to use.
- Now you can play the title you want. You control playback, subtitles and audio track via your mobile device.
- Caution: You are not able to transfer from iOS devices to Fire TV devices or transfer from Fire tablets to Chromecast/Android TV.
