No time-to-BeRael notification – possible reasons

BeReal users receive a Time-to-BeReal notification every day. The time when the message comes varies. The notification opens a two-minute window in which you can post a photo. If you do not receive this message, you have probably changed time zones.

• To fix the problem, launch the app on your Android smartphone and access your profile on the social media app Bereal.

• Open the settings by tapping on the three dots in the top right corner.

• Tap on “Time zone” and select your time zone.

• Note: You can only change your time zone once in a 24-hour period.

Problems with other notifications from Bereal

In addition to the Time-to-BeReal notification, the social media app sends other notifications.

• You usually receive notifications about mentions, comments, friend requests, Late BeReals and Realmojis.

• Unlike the Time-to-BeReal notification, you can disable these notifications.

• If you do not receive these notifications unintentionally, check the settings, which can be found again in your profile.

• Tap on “Notifications” and check if all sliders are activated.
