Facebook: Change your phone number – this is how

If you have a new phone number, you can also change it on Facebook. We show you how to tell Facebook and your friends the new phone number

Change phone number on Facebook

Note: If you don’t want to make the change for your Facebook services, but just want to change the number shown in your profile, follow these instructions instead.

• Open the Facebook website and click on the small arrow in the top right corner.

• Select the “Settings & Privacy” section here.

• Switch to the “Mobile phone” category on the left, and you will see the mobile phone number currently stored there.

• Click on the link “Add another mobile phone number” and enter your mobile phone number.

• You will then receive a code by SMS, which you enter on the same page.

• Your phone number will now be added to your profile. If you wish, you can remove the old number.
