ING-DiBa: How to cancel your account

If you have decided on another bank, you can cancel your account with ING-DiBa at any time. You can even do this with just a few clicks directly in online banking

Instructions: Cancel your account with ING-DiBa AG

There is no notice period for bank accounts. You can close your account and the associated securities accounts with immediate effect.

• Log in to ING-DiBa AG online banking first.

• Select the desired account here and click on “Delete account” under “More” at the top.

• Here you can now delete your account immediately or on a desired date.

• Add a reference account. If ING receives a direct debit before the account is closed, the reference account will be debited instead.

• The process is completed via the “Request deletion” button. You must then confirm the request via the app or with a TAN.

• In the coming days, you will receive an email from ING-DiBa confirming the termination and the date on which your account will be closed.
