Instagram offers you the possibility to share your location with your followers in a story. You only need to follow a few steps to do this.
Instagram: How to add your location to the Story
On Instagram, you have many options to edit your Story any way you want. You can also add your location. To do this, you need to follow these steps:
- First open your Instagram app to do this.
- Now open the Story function. You can find this by tapping on the profile picture on your profile or by going to your home page and swiping your finger to the right.
- Take a photo you like then. Alternatively, you can upload a photo that you have taken before.
- Once you’ve done that, you can add different filters to your story by swiping left or right.
- To add your location and other tools, you need to click on the second icon in the top bar, a notepad with a smiling smiley.
- Here you can now add your location by clicking on the “Location” tool. Once you have done this, you will need to enter and select the location you are looking for.
- You can change the colour of the icon by tapping on it after selecting the location. Finally, you can post the finished edited story by tapping on “Your Story” in the bottom left corner.
