With Spotify, you can delete your own playlist if you no longer need it. However, you have to proceed differently depending on the device. We show you where you can find the necessary option in the desktop programme and the apps.
Delete Spotify playlist on the desktop: Instructions
If you use Spotify on PC or Mac, deleting the playlist works as follows:
- Open Spotify for Desktop or the Spotify website in your browser and log in with your account details, if necessary.
- Right-click on the playlist in the left column in the “Playlists” section.
- Go to Delete
Delete Spotify Playlist on Android
If you use Spotify with an Android device, deleting works as follows:
- Open the Spotify library and tap on the playlist you want to delete.
- Tap on the three vertical dots in the playlist. They will be displayed centrally under the playlist icon.
- Select Delete Playlist and confirm with Delete.
Delete Spotify Playlist on iOS
You can also delete a Spotify playlist on your iOS device:
- Open your library on Spotify.
- Go to the appropriate Spotify playlist.
- Tap on the three dots and select Delete Playlist. Finally, confirm with Delete.
