What is streaming ? Here’s what it’s all about
Generally, streaming means playing content on your laptop over the Internet or over a network.
- While you are streaming, data packets are continuously transmitted and directly processed.
- When streaming, however, the videos do not have to be completely transferred for you to watch them. Even a small transmitted portion is enough.
- Of course, a stream can happen from one of your devices to another. For example, you can stream media from your iPhone to your TV.
- Streaming becomes problematic if your internet connection is too slow. In this case, the video will stall a lot because the next data has not been downloaded yet.
