Aloe vera has many healing agents and strengthens the skin as well as the immune system of your cat. However, the leaves of the medicinal plant also contain the substance aloin, which is toxic to cats, dogs and birds.

  • If cats ingest the toxic aloin, dangerous reactions are the result. Aloin leads to intestinal bleeding, diarrhoea, cramps and even paralysis and kidney damage.
  • Aloe vera is also full of important nutrients. Vitamins, essential oils and various amino acids, which make the plant a real miracle cure.
    • The salicylic acid it contains relieves pain, while the polysaccharide acemanna strengthens cell membranes and the immune system.
    • In total, aloe vera has about 200 active ingredients that alleviate and even prevent a wide variety of ailments such as diabetes or allergies.
  • You can also use the remedy on your cat without any problems in case of injuries. The antibacterial effect protects wounds from viruses and bacteria.
