How long UPS delivers
UPS usually delivers between 9am and 5pm. At Christmas time and other peak times, the service provider may deliver later.
- Delivery times: UPS delivers from Monday to Saturday. The service provider starts deliveries at 9am, but you should not expect the postman until 10am. If your shipment is delivered via standard shipping, it usually takes one to two business days for your package to arrive.
- Express shipping: With this shipping method, UPS guarantees delivery the following business day. Keep in mind that your package must also be received.
- Shipment Tracking: If you enter the tracking number on the UPS website, you can see where your package is. Once the status changes to “in delivery”, your shipment should arrive the same day.
- Delays: Accidents, illness or work overload of the delivery staff can cause your parcel to be delayed. In this case, your parcel will not be delivered until the following working day. In addition, some online retailers mark their parcels as shipped as soon as they are ready for collection. This means that your delivery may still be at the retailer’s premises even though it has been declared as shipped.
