If you want to deactivate your Discord account and reactivate it later, you only need your password.
Disable and reactivate your Discord account: Instructions
To deactivate and reactivate your Discord account, follow these steps:
- Open Discord and go to the account settings. To do this, click on the cogwheel next to your account name.
- Navigate to the My Account tab. Scroll down until you find the option Delete Account.
- Then select Deactivate Account. Do not delete your account. Account deactivation allows you to reactivate your account later, which is not possible after account deletion.
- Enter your Discord password in the following pop-up. Confirm the deactivation by clicking the blue button.
- You will then be logged out and the account is deactivated. To reactivate it, you will need to log back into Discord with your login details.
- You will then have the option to restore your account. Click on the option to confirm the reactivation. You will be logged in automatically and can continue to use Discord without any restrictions.
