Drawing furniture – free programmes
There are many free programs for digitally designing your dream furniture:
- Sweet Home 3D: Thanks to this freeware, you can draw your furniture in 2D or 3D in no time at all. You can also design entire room plans. You can then save the finished result as an image or print it out.
- Google SketchUp: Here you can design and create your furniture in 3D. The software is clearly designed and easy to use. Inspiration is provided by the prefabricated models, which you can modify as you wish.
- |Kitchen Design Software: This free program specialises in the design and creation of your kitchen and its furniture. Choose from many templates or create a new kitchen. The result can then either be printed or shared via Dropbox or Google Drive.
- CadStd Lite: This tool is the stripped down version of the professional CadStd software. With this you can create your own furniture or draw the floor plan of your house. You can also furnish an entire flat at once. Unfortunately, images and PDFs are watermarked at the end.
- Gliffy Online: With Gliffy, you can create and design your personal house or flat, including furniture, directly in your browser. You can even design all the rooms of a house individually.
