Thanks to advances in technology, it is now possible to scan QR codes on your phone without another device. Google Lens is responsible for this.
- Because with Google Lens it is not only possible to translate things, or search for products, but also to scan QR codes that are already on your smartphone.
- The procedure is very simple. Download the QR code by holding it down for a long time or take a screenshot.
- Then open the picture in your picture gallery. There you should now find the options Share, Delete, Edit, or Favourite, among others. But there should also be a field with 3 dots or another setting field that you can click on.
- There you will see more options broken down, including “Google Lens”, which you tap. Now the QR code should be read automatically.
