How to get the vaccination certificate for the CovPass
You can get the vaccination certificate for the CovPass at several places, such as the vaccination centre, your GP or specialist. The vaccination certificate shows when you were vaccinated and with which vaccine. The QR code on it stores the most important data about you and your vaccination.
– If you were vaccinated after the CovPass was set up, you should have already received the vaccination certificate with your vaccination, both from the doctor and the vaccination centre.
– If it was your turn to be vaccinated earlier, you can ask for the vaccination certificate from your GP or specialist. To do this, you will need to show your ID card, vaccination certificate and possibly also the documents relating to your vaccination. However, it is best to ask your doctor’s practice beforehand whether they can issue the certificate.
You can also get the certificate from most pharmacies. You will also need to present the relevant documents. At the pharmacy, it takes one to two days until you can pick up the certificate.

How to set up the CovPass
The CovPass is an app on your smartphone that stores the most important data about your vaccination. Hotels, tour operators and travel companies can thus be sure that you have a vaccination.
– Information identifying you, such as name and date of birth, and about your vaccination, such as vaccination date and vaccine, is stored in it.
– The vaccination certificate consists of two pieces of paper on which these data and a QR code are noted.
– After you have downloaded the app, you can now add certificates via the central + sign. Your camera will then open and you can scan the code.
– Your vaccination details should then appear in the app immediately. Make sure you scan both certificates to ensure you have both vaccinations.
