How to watch the Australian Open 2023 on livestream or on TV

As always, the first of four Grand Slam tournaments this year is the Australian Open. They take place in Melbourne from 16 to 29 January. Eurosport has the broadcasting rights again this year, so you can watch the matches on TV for free.

  • The Eurosport channel will show all the matches of the tournament on its two services Eurosport 1 and 2. You can watch the matches on TV for free.
  • Eurosport’s livestream, on the other hand, is available for a fee. The pay-TV service discovery+ shows the games from mobile devices. A one-month subscription costs between 3.99 and 6.99 euros.
  • Alternatively, DAZN also offers the tournament in a live stream, as the streaming service cooperates with Eurosport. Here you can watch the Australian Open 2023 for 9.99 euros in a monthly subscription.
  • Tip: Some matches can be seen on TV on Eurosport 1 SD and can therefore be received via Joyn.
  • Whether you use the livestream or watch the individual matches live on TV, bear in mind the time difference. All matches up to the semi-finals start at 1 a.m. and 9 a.m. in Germany.
  • The semi-finals on 26 and 27 January will start at 1am or 6am respectively. To watch both the women’s final on 28 and the men’s final on 29 January live, you must not be a late riser. Both matches start at 6 a.m. German time.
