Staycation: definition and ideas
Staycation is made up of the English words “stay” and “vacation”. It is therefore a new term for a holiday on the balcony.
- Definition: “Stay” means to stay or to stay. “Vacation” means holiday. Therefore, people who do not go away on holiday speak of a staycation.
- Advantages: A staycation offers several advantages. You can approach your holiday with a clear conscience, as you emit less CO2 by avoiding flights and long car journeys. - Ideas: A staycation is an excellent way to try out new hobbies. You can invest the money you save in a golf or paragliding course, for example. You can also plan day trips and visit a museum or theatre to integrate culture into your holiday.
