Repairing a Samsung remote control: procedure

To re-pair the remote control of your Samsung TV, proceed as follows:

• Make sure that the TV is switched on. Now hold the remote control at least 30 centimetres away from the device:

• Now press the Play and Back buttons on the remote control simultaneously. Hold them down for at least five seconds.

• The remote control is then re-paired. This is confirmed by a subsequent message on the TV.

• Note: On some older models, you must first switch off the TV and then press the pairing button on the remote control. Then switch the TV on again to start pairing.
