Temporarily switch off Kaspersky Anti Virus: Instructions
With Kaspersky, you can disable all security features for a certain time:
– Click on the Kaspersky icon in the menu bar or on the application icon in the application overview.
– If you have opened the programme in the programme overview, then go to “Settings” and go to the “Protection” tab. Deactivate or activate the protection.
– Select “Disable Protection”. Depending on your computer system, a window appears in which you must confirm the process with your password. Follow the instructions on the screen.
– Select “Deactivate protection”.
– If the computer is switched off and restarted, the anti-virus protection will not be activated. In order for it to be activated, you must turn it on manually.
To do this, click on the Kaspersky icon and click on “Activate protection”. Follow the on-screen instructions.
