Boeing has designed and produced many types of aircraft in its business life to date. These are the civilian passenger aircraft of the American manufacturer.

  • Boeing 707: this aircraft type had its maiden flight on December 20, 1957 and was delivered until 1982. The 707 has a range of around 8,700 km at a top speed of 896 km/h. It offers space for up to 219 passengers and can reach a maximum altitude of 12,800 meters. The 707 is 12.85 meters high, 46.61 meters long and has a wingspan of 43.4 meters.

Boeing 717

This Boeing type took to the skies for the first time on September 2, 1998. Deliveries continued until 2006.

  • Data: It has a range of around 2,645 kilometers and can fly up to 11,300 meters. There are 134 seats available and the maximum speed is 811 km/h. The 717 is 8.92 meters high, 37.81 meters long and has a wingspan of 28.45 meters.

Boeing 727

This type flew from February 6, 1963 and was delivered until 1984.

  • Data: This aircraft has 131 seats and can reach a speed of 926 km/h. The maximum flight altitude is around 11,400 meters and the range is 3,056 kilometers. The 727 is 10.36 meters high, 40.59 meters long and has a wingspan of 32.92 meters.

Boeing 737

The 737 took off for the first time in 1967 and is still in production today.

  • Data: This aircraft type is available with different designations from 737-100 to 737-500. The “Next Generation” has the designations 737-600 to 737-900. There are also the models 737-MAX 7, 737-MAX 8, 737-MAX 9, 737-MAX 200 and 737-MAX 10. These aircraft are between 11.28 meters and 12.60 meters high, 28.65 meters and 42.11 meters long and have a wingspan of between 28.35 meters and 34.3 meters. These aircraft can reach a maximum speed of up to 917 km/h and fly between 3,440 and 6,650 kilometers. The maximum flight altitude is between 10,600 meters and 12,497 meters. They can accommodate between 85 and 215 passengers.

Boeing 747

The 747 had its maiden flight on February 9, 1969 and is still being delivered today. For a long time it was the&nbsplargest passenger aircraft&nbspin the world. This aircraft type is available with the designations 747-100, 747-200, 747-300 and 747-400. There is also the Dreamlifter, the 747-400F, 747-8I and 747-8F.

  • Data: These aircraft types are between 19.3 meters and 19.41 meters high, between 70.6 meters and 76.25 meters long and have a wingspan of between 59.6 meters and 68.45 meters. The cruising altitude is between 13,000 meters and 13,800 meters and the range is between 9,800 kilometers and 14,800 kilometers. These aircraft fly between 895 km/h and 988 km/h. There are between 366 and 605 seats.
  • The special feature of this type of aircraft is that it acts as the American president’s Air Force One.

Boeing 757

This aircraft has been in service since 19.02.1982. It was delivered until 2004.

  • Data: The 757-200 has a height of 16.6 meters, a length of 47.32 meters and a wingspan of 38.05 meters. It can fly up to 12,800 meters and cover a maximum distance of 7,223 kilometers. This 757 has 200 to 231 seats. The 757-300 is also 13.6 meters high, but slightly longer at 54.34 meters. The wingspan is 38.05 meters. As with the first aircraft, the flight altitude is 12,800 meters, while the range is slightly shorter at 6,421 kilometers. Both aircraft reach a top speed of 800 km/h.

Boeing 767

This aircraft has been flying since 1981 and has been delivered to date.

  • Data: The 767-200 has a height of 15.85 meters, a length of 48.51 meters and a wingspan of 47.57 meters. It can fly up to 13,100 meters high and has a range of 9,400 kilometers at a top speed of up to 850 km/h. It can carry between 216 and 290 passengers. The 767-300 is slightly higher at 16.8 meters and longer at 54.9 meters. The wingspan is the same and it can fly just as high. The range is longer at 11,100 kilometers, but it flies just as fast. The 757-300 can offer between 261 and 299 seats.

Boeing 777

Also known as the Triple Seven the aircraft is available in the 777-200 and 777-300 versions. It took to the skies for the first time on 12.06.1994 and is still in production.

  • Data: Both types have a height of 18.51 meters and a wingspan of 60.93 meters. The length is 63.73 meters for the former and 73.80 meters for the latter. Both aircraft can fly at altitudes of up to 13,100 meters and reach a top speed of 950 km/h. There are between 305 and 550 seats. The 777-200 has a range of 9,700 kilometers, while the 777-300 can fly up to 11,100 kilometers.

Boeing 787

This aircraft type took to the skies for the first time on December 15, 2009. It is still being built and delivered.

  • Data: It has a height of 16.9 meters, a length of 56.7 meters and a wingspan of 60.1 meters. The 787 can reach speeds of up to 903 km/h and an altitude of 13,000 meters. The maximum range is 14,700 kilometers and it can seat up to 250 passengers. The Dreamliner is a further development of the 767. The 787-800 (this is what the information refers to) and 787-900 models are also available. A 787-1000 has also been in service since 2019. This aircraft is longer and has more seats.
