In Dave the Diver you can catch four different seahorses. However, you won’t get them so easily without a bug net
Dave the Diver: From net to seahorse
Seahorses are classified as small animals in Dave the Diver, so they can’t simply be shot with a harpoon. You need the beetle or insect net that Maki gives you in the second chapter of the game. To get the net, you need to bring her three ingredients.
- The two simpler ingredients are soy sauce and seaweed. You can get both in shallow water, start by examining the red pots for the soy sauce. The seaweed can simply be fished out of the water like this
- Maki also wants jackfish, which can be found at a depth of between 50 and 130 meters. This fish is recognizable by its white color with a yellow belly. The back of the fish is bluish in color
- Once you have delivered the ingredients, Maki will give you the net you need. The mission to catch the four seahorses is again given to you by Linchen.
Here are the four seahorses
To start the mission, go to the arcade in the village of the sea folk. Linchen will give you the task of recapturing four runaway seahorses so that she can hold her races. You will find the four seahorses you are looking for in the village itself.
- To catch the seahorses, approach the animals with the equipped net. You can do this by pressing a button that appears when you approach the giraffe seahorse, for example. You will find this to the left of the arcade next to the portal
- Go further to the left and you will find the hedgehog seahorse right next to the restaurant. Right next to it, you will also find the pygmy seahorse hiding by the village store
- To get the last seahorse, the crowned seahorse, take the portal and catch it in Tenzhin’s house. If you now talk to Linchen again, the mission will be completed automatically
