by Pramith

Before you head into the fairytale valley, you’ll want to know about Disney Dreamlight Valley’s multiplayer, crossplay and cross-save.

Disney Dreamlight Valley: multiplayer, crossplay and co-op

Disney Dreamlight Valley is a single player game so far. Therefore, there is neither multiplayer nor the option for crossplay. However, the features are supposed to come.

  • Disney Dreamlight Valley is getting a multiplayer mode.
  • Gameloft confirms that multiplayer mode will be released in 2023. In which quarter has not yet been determined.
  • As the developers have reached their follower goals, they are implementing some announced features, including the ability to visit friends’ Valleys.
  • Whether there will be some sort of co-op in Disney Dreamlight Valley or if they will make the visits similar to Animal Crossing multiplayer remains to be seen.
  • It’s very possible that Disney Dreamlight Valley will support crossplay between PC and Xbox – after all, there’s already cross-progression now.

Save Disney Dreamlight Valley: cross-save and cross-progression

You can’t currently play Disney Dreamlight Valley in pairs, but you can switch seamlessly between PC and console.

  • For players who have the game on different platforms, however, there is a convenient saving method: Disney Dreamlight Valley supports cross-save.
  • When you go to “Cloud Save” in the game menu, the game will ask you if you want to sign up. You need the free Gameloft account to be able to load the same game score on all devices. Then click on Cloud Backup on the other device and enter the same data.
  • Once a profile is created, Disney Dreamlight Valley always saves via the cloud and you can seamlessly switch between PC, Xbox, PlayStation and Nintendo Switch. To do this, log in with your profile on the start screen.
