If you meet the wizard Rogier in Elden Ring, he will have a quest for you. You will meet the NPC in Storm Veil Castle
Elden Ring: Wizard Rogier Quest
First meet Rogier in Storm Veil Castle. The quest starts here. It can intersect with other quests.
- First you have to defeat the boss Godrick. Once you have done this, you will return to Rogier and receive Rogier’s Rapier as a reward
- You must then find the face of Godwyn. Start at the Place of Mercy and go out to the courtyard. Keep to the right of the ledge and drop down to the level below.
- Small battles with rats and enemies are not spared here. However, you can find the talisman “Ulcer of the Prince of Death” in the corridors. This is located right next to a distorted depiction of a skull
- Here you will also find a bloodstain that you can click on. The cutscene shows what Rogier’s death might look like. You then return to Rogier and tell him about your new findings
So continue with the quest
At this point, the Rogier quest can intersect with the Fia quest. You can end the dialog with Fia and continue directly with the Rogier quest.
- Go to the catacombs to find and collect the Black Knife Imprint. Return to Rogier again to give him the print
- Rogier now sends you to the witch Ranni. You will find Ranni in the Three Sisters area of Liurnia. You can speak to her there and she will tell you her plans. Then return to Rogier, who is about to fall into a deep sleep.
- Fight the final boss battle and Rogier will have disappeared. However, he leaves you his sound pearl and a letter that tells you the whereabouts of D’s twin brother.
