Fishing in Graveyard Keeper: Requirements, bait and spots

To fish in Graveyard Keeper, you will of course need a fishing rod.

  • Fishing rods are only available in the game from the lighthouse keeper and are available in three different qualities for different types of fish. You can obtain the simple fishing rod either for two silver coins or by bringing the lighthouse keeper six moths for a quest.
  • The Good Angel costs three silver coins, the Excellent Angel costs five silver coins. While you can use the Good fishing rod for most of the fish species in the game, you will need the Excellent fishing rod for the higher-level species. Ideally, you should therefore vary the fishing rods regularly
  • In addition to the fishing rod, the right bait is also important. In addition to the moths already mentioned, there are the following: Maggots, butterflies, gudgeons, anchovies and the steel bait and bait with gemstone that can be purchased from the lighthouse keeper.
  • Once you have a fishing rod and bait with you, all you have to do is visit the appropriate fishing spots. There are five of these in the game.
  • At the start of the game, you only have the pier near the lighthouse for sea fish and the small pond north-east of the village for freshwater fish. To begin with, these are completely sufficient to familiarize yourself with the fishing mechanics.
  • Tip: You can unlock the other three fishing spots by repairing the bridge and removing the blockade.
