Hogwarts Legacy: Release for all platforms and versions at a glance.

On 10 February 2023 is the release of the new Harry Potter adventure Hogwarts Legacy. This is the first open-world game in the world of Harry Potter.

Hogwarts Legacy: Release and versions of the game

The game Hogwarts Legacy was originally announced for the year 2022. However, the release has been pushed back to 10 February 2023. This date does not affect all platforms.

• 10 February 2023: On this date, the open world adventure will be released for the PC, Xbox Series X/S and Playstation 5.
• Further consoles: For Playstation 4 and Xbox One, Hogwarts Legacy is not scheduled for release until April 2023. Nintendo Switch players can expect a July release.
• Editions: There are a total of four different versions of the game. The game is available as a standard version as well as a deluxe version. Furthermore, there is a Collectors Edition and also an Amazon Exclusive Edition of the game.
• Prices: The price of the game depends on both the platform and the version. In the standard version, the game costs 59.99 euros for the PC and 69.99 euros for the Switch, PS4 and Xbox One. For the latest console generations, 74.99 euros are due. The Deluxe variant always costs 10 euros more. The Collectors Edition costs 299.99 euros and the Amazon exclusive has the same price as the standard variants in each case.
• Deluxe Edition: If you opt for this variant of Hogwarts Legacy, you will get access to the game 72 hours earlier. In addition, the deluxe version includes an extra mission if you buy it for the Playstation. Furthermore, you will receive an Onyx Hippogriff as a mount as well as a potion recipe (PlayStation only) if you pre-order it. For the Digital Deluxe Edition there is a field cap. For all platforms, the Dark Arts package is included. This includes another mount, a cosmetic set and a battle arena.
• Collectors-Edition: This includes an Onyx Hippogriff when pre-ordered. Exclusive to the PlayStation is the “Haunted Shop in Hogsmeade” order. If you pre-order the game for the PlayStation, you will also receive a potion recipe. Furthermore, the Collection includes a life-size floating wand with a book base, a Steelcase and a Kelpie Cloak. The cape is downloadable content.
