Improve axe in LEGO Fortnite: Better workbench needed
The forest axe is one of the basic tools in LEGO Fortnite. To improve it, you need a workbench upgrade.
- When you select your workbench, click on Instant Upgrade at the top. You will see an overview of the requirements to upgrade it
- You can upgrade workbenches to Uncommon, Rare and Epic. You probably already know these terms from Fortnite. They are used to describe the rarity of weapons and other items
- If you want to upgrade your axes, you will need these upgrades. An unusual workbench will cost you three tanks, which you can obtain from the rolling enemies in the world, and eight planks. You produce the planks from wood using a sawmill
- This is how you upgrade the workbench to Epic. However, the resources required for this will demand a lot from you, as you still need a lot of resources and upgraded tools.
Upgrade Axe in LEGO Fortnite: Resources about resources
LEGO Fortnite doesn’t make it easy if you want to improve your axe. For each upgrade level, you not only need the corresponding workbench upgrade, but also the appropriate resources:
- For an unusual axe you need three bones and three wooden sticks. You can loot bones from skeletons, for example, while you find the wooden sticks or make them yourself.
- If you want a rare axe, you must produce five units of polished amber and collect three gnarled roots. While you farm the roots with an unusual axe, you must process raw amber from deserts with a stone crusher
- The epic axe is available for three gnarled roots and three bronze ingots. You can produce bronze ingots yourself using a smelting furnace
- Note: You can only upgrade an uncommon axe to a rare axe, which in turn can be upgraded to an epic axe. It is not possible to upgrade a normal axe directly to an epic axe.
