Palworld: Release and further information on the survival shooter

The release of Palworld is still a long time coming after Early Access. Developer Pocketpair has already named a potential time frame

Palworld: Release of the full version

Palworld is often referred to as Pokémon with weapons due to its features. Players have been able to get a taste of it since January 19, 2024, through Early Access on Steam.

• The release of the full version does not yet have a fixed date (as of January 2024). This will be announced throughout Early Access

• Based on the Early Access Launch FAQ for Palworld, however, an approximate release date for the full version can be determined: Early 2025.

• According to Pocketpair, Early Access will last about a year. New features and pals will be added over this period

• The Pokémon-like survival shooter is available for PC via Steam and the Xbox Game Pass. The Xbox Game Pass also makes it possible to play Palworld via an Xbox One or X/S. A possible PS5 version is currently not planned, but not completely ruled out either

Palworld: Features of the Early Access Release

Already in Early Access, Palworld offers a variety of features that give players a taste of what’s to come.

• Palworld supports single and multiplayer. The multiplayer servers allow groups of up to 32 players to collect Pals, expand their base and take down bosses together.

• Over 100 Pals are already available in Early Access. You can fight, craft and train them. Depending on their type, you can use them as mounts and flying animals.

• The game is set in an open world that can be freely explored right from the start. A fast travel function, as well as resource mining and dungeons, are also included.

• Palworld supports various controllers on the PC. Modding is also planned due to the use of Unreal Engine 5, so that players will be able to make their modifications in the future.
