Play and launch Sims 4 offline – here’s how
In order to install and start Sims 4, you absolutely need the Origin software. After the installation you have to start the Sims 4 online for a successful registration.
- To prevent Sims 4 from connecting to the internet every time you start it, you must set Origin to offline mode. To do this, first launch Origin.
- Now click on the menu item “Origin” in the top left corner of the software and select the option “Go offline”. If you now start Sims 4, no connection to the Internet will be established.
- Note: Online functions such as the gallery are now no longer available. However, you can go back online at any time if necessary.
