WoW: Unlearning professions in World of Warcraft

To unlearn one of your professions in WoW, you only have to open the overview of your learned professions. With one click, you can remove the respective profession there.

This is how you unlearn professions in WoW

Unfortunately, you can only learn two main professions in World of Warcraft, such as tailoring or blacksmithing. If you want to learn another profession, you must first make room for it. This works as follows:

• First you have to open the profession window. You can find it as a tab at the bottom of the character menu under ‘Skills’ or simply by pressing [K].
• Each profession has its own column with a progress-learning bar. Just in front of this bar – to the left of it – you will find a small red circle.
• When you click on this red circle, a window opens for learning the respective occupation. You only have to confirm this and the profession is irrevocably unlearned.
• Only primary occupations are unlearned in this way. For example, you cannot reset your progress in “Cooking” or “First Aid”.
• Attention: Even a Game Master (GM) cannot restore the progress you have forgotten! So consider this step carefully, especially if you have already invested a lot of work. Alternatively, you may want to start a new character with your desired new professions in WoW.
