A trial membership lasts one month and is free for you. After that, you pay 89.90 euros a year or alternatively 8.99 euros a month. For students, the first 6 months are free. So if you pay annually, you save 50 per cent. The advantages of Amazon Prime for you and your family are:
- Prime shipping is free, as is same-day delivery.
- You pay less with express shipping.
- Use the Kindle e-book lending library for free, as well as Amazon Music with two million songs.
- Get unlimited storage for your photos in Amazon Cloud Drive.
- Customers in Germany get free access to Amazon Prime Video.
Limitations of Amazon Prime
There is one restriction, however: Some goods are excluded from Prime benefits. These include items…
- .. which require a special delivery service because of their size or nature.
- .. that are offered and shipped by Marketplace sellers and are not marked Prime.
- .. without a parental rating that must be specially delivered.
- .. with special status, such as orders of a savings or magazine subscription or personalised gift cards.
- .. that do not have the Prime logo on the product page.
