In order to enlarge your Instagram profile picture and thus have it displayed in large size, you have to resort to various tricks. With the right tools, you can enlarge any Instagram profile picture and even download it

Sites like instazoom.org or instazoomer.co.uk are the easiest way to enlarge the Instagram profile pictures you want and view them in the format they were uploaded. These sites all have a similar structure and are peppered with advertising, and they usually look very dubious. Use at your own risk, so always be careful what you click on and download.
- Enter the desired username in the search box.
- Most of the time you will now see the profile picture or be asked to click a button again. You can either view or download this. You can also download the picture to your computer by right-clicking – Save picture as

With this somewhat more elaborate – but safe – method, you can see the profile picture in its original size without having to call up third-party websites.
- Open the Instagram profile in your browser. We have tested this method in Google Chrome as well as Mozilla Firefox.
- Right-click in a free space to display the page source text (image 1). This will now open in a new tab.
- Now use Ctrl + F to search for “profilepage_”. The number that follows is the user ID. (Picture 2)
- Open https://i.instagram.com/api/v1/users/USER-ID/info/ and enter the number combination instead of “USER-ID” in the link.
- Search for “hd_profile_pic_url_info” – again with Ctrl + F. The following link opens the profile picture in original size. (Picture 3)
